Celebrating a life
Although she was not a member of the 11-person team that made The Fair Trade, Bette Farrer — our director’s mom — was a silent partner in the making of the movie. Her prayers and her servanthood were instrumental in everything that happened on the film.
Bette Farrer passed away Friday, July 4, at 8:22 p.m., in Texas. She will be missed dearly.
Just as The Fair Trade was a celebration of life even in the wake of Matthew’s death, we will keep working towards the next story to tell, celebrating Bette’s life through the gifts of storytelling and service that she left us.
